Isn't there a sequel to the McShep story Entangled Particles by Zinnith? Not the Big Bang story (Hooke's Law) that's on my 'to read' list. I was sure there was a story where John and Rodney go to visist John's old air force buddy and his wife who just had a baby, but I didn't see it on the site.

Before I bug the author, I thought someone here might know it.

I could have sworn there was a mcshep fic titled "The Sultan and the Consort" or the like.  It was an AU where Sumner was in charge of the expedition and the team visited a world where Sheppard was the leader and McKay was his consort.  I have google'd it to death with no luck...

This is driving me crazy. Someone mentioned this story, which I've read at least twice, but now I can't find the link.

It starts on a planet in which the team is racing back to the jumper, under fire, with a badly wounded John. (Head injury?) Rodney is tasked with hauling John, I think, and feels a sharp pain in his back but is yelled at to keep moving. I can't remember whether this was Ford-era or Ronon-era team. Rodney pilots the jumper back to Atlantis and everybody swarms around John to usher him to the infirmary, and Rodney stays behind in the jumper to catch his breath or wait for his back to hurt less or something. Only something's wrong, and John later discovers that no one knows where Rodney is ....

I think those details are right. I could swear it's on fanfiction.net, but I simply cannot find it, so I might be wrong about that. Anyone have the link? Thanks!

This is a story probably everyone in the fandom knows but I can't remember it's title or author. Rodney lives in a house with a big satellite and hears John one night and helps in his rescue.

As I said, I'm sure many know this one so thanks to all that respond.

I'm looking for the one where Rodney is still having issues because of his massive dose of enzyme and he is blacking out. Everyone thinks that John is homophobic and Rodney is sent to Earth and they attend an awards thing in Israel(I think.) Rodney and Caldwell become friends because Rodney is on the Daedalus Hope someone can recognize this from my disjointed summary. Thanks!

Hi. I read a story where Rodney's downwards slanted mouth was explained as a medical condition. He seemed to have relapsed, perhaps losing total feeling on the left side of his face, and was afraid to let people see him. I do remember that there was some comparison with former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien who was written to have had the same condition. I think it was McShep. Thanks for your help!

I'm looking for that story where the sun *literally* shines out of John's ass. It was McShep.

I read a McShep fic a long time ago where it was based off of the movie Water World's premise. It was rather complicated with McKay having been genetically altered to have gills and the world was submerged because of some attack by... I forget, the gaould or something? Help?

The one were men have pouches and can have children, I think it was called somthing like the roo verse?

What I remember is John was Pregnent and he get's together with Rodney but he's not the Dad.

John leaves Atlantis with the father of his baby after he alomost looses it crashing a ship.

The last bit I remember is Johns father showing up to the proper rituals for the baby being born.

I have just finished re-reading One Way Ticket where Jack and Daniel go to Atlantis and Jack and Rodney get together. I remember that someone was writing the flip side where John and Daniel get together. I don't think it was finished. So does anyone know if it was finished and where whatever was written is now?

I started to read this story last week and never finished it, tragically. Post-mission-gone-horribly-wrong, in which something dreadful happened to Sheppard (he's tortured? Sliced up? Rodney has to watch?) All I can remember is it's Rodney POV, and Sheppard seems fine about it, recovering and bouncing back, but poor Rodney is the one having nightmares, and he refers to what happened as The Incident or by some euphemism in his head because he can't even think about it or he loses his lunch or has a flashback. That's where I stopped reading and lost the story.

Any help would be appreciated. I believe it's McShep.

ETA: cutloosemcgoose did finded it! It's Fine by rageprufrock. (the key to stumping danceswithgary is apparently being very very vague and wrongheaded :)

I'm far back in the posts of this group (1/24/08) and I came across a post for the above story. I'd love to read it but the journal has been deleted. Does anyone have an updated link for it?

I'm looking for the fic where the team goes to a planet where all of the adults are sick with an illness that makes them sleep.  Soon, John, Teyla, and Ronon succumb, leaving Rodney and the kids to make the cure.  By the end of it he's warped them into acting like him.

I'm looking for a long story that I think I read over in Area52. I think it was in three parts. Rodney's in love with John but John isn't gay. But he tells Rodney that his friendship means much more to him than any love relationship or sex and that there's no future for him where he can't see Rodney spending it with him, like living next-door. That all happens in the very first part. I know that later on in the story, they're helping to rebuild a village, I think even Teyla's village.

I'm looking for a McShep fic I read a while back. The story starts with John and Rodney talking on the pier about moving in together as a sort of "why the heck not" thing (Keller just broke up with Rodney and he's gotten used to not living alone). They get a place together, and the story progresses towards them "getting together," of course. It goes through a series of all these really super sweet scenes, though. Rodney lying in bed listening to music and John just lying down next to him, holding his hand. Sitting on the couch with their laptops working together. So on and so forth. It's rated probably PG or PG13, not really smutty at all, just really adorable. Please help! :D

I'm looking for a fic where there's something wrong with Rodney -- I can't remember what, exactly -- and he goes rather animalistic and tackles Sheppard to the floor and bites him. I believe this happens in the infirmary, though I could be wrong. When Rodney gets better, he has no memory of what he did while drugged (?) or whatever, but he notices that Sheppard has a scar or a mark on the back of his neck that he reaches up to touch often. It drives Rodney crazy, and I think he eventually gives in and asks Sheppard where the scar came from. That's all I can really remember, but I'm hoping it's memorable enough for someone to recognize it.

Ok, so there's this really trippy, atmospheric story where john is on some kind of mission that's taking years and years. The puddlejumper talks to him, and he eventually gets to a planet where the jumper dissolves and takes the form of rodney. when he gets back to atlantis everyone is so glad to see him. then they find rodney in a winnebago in some kind of tunnel or something. im not doing a very good job but it was an awesome story. i found it on this great mcshep rec list that i can't find anymore, on someone's livejournal, where they had organized stories by category (gorgeous, burning hot). thanks!
