Hi all, I'm on a fic hunt. You clever people will find them in an instant.

1 Similar to Rebuilding Babel. Rodney is injured, deliberately I think,possibly off world either as a punishment or a blessing. He either can't speak or maybe can't hear but his connection to Atlantis becomes much stronger. The Daedalus comes to take him back to earth but Radek/John or possibly Atlantis herself engineers a crisis that only Rodney can deal with and Caldwell and the SGC are forced to admit that Atlantis is the best place for Rodney to be. He may get better, I'm not sure. Probably mcshep.

2 An older fic. Rodney injects himself with an OD of enzyme and goes to rescue John on a Wraith ship. It gives him telekinetic abilities. He and John have sex on the Wraith ship control chair after Rodney kills the queen. Rodneys eyes go black. It has a sequel where Rodney rescues some children from the wraith. I thought it was by Tarlan but I can't track it down on her site.

Unrelated: Why do people feel that other people strangers' business is their business and that they have the right to ask any deeply personal question that they want and then get frustrated when the stranger doesn't answer? And how are you supposed to respond to one of those bothersome people asks such a question?

Hi all!

I'm looking for the fic where Rodney is kicked off of SGA-1 for some reason or another (possibly after Trinity?). He joins another team (Lornes?) and makes good friends with them and I'm pretty sure this makes John jealous. The new team member that I remember best is a girl who turns out to be an awesome negotiator - she works with Weir and says something about how her brothers always used to say she got everything she wanted. I know this is vague, but I trust in the amazing powers of the community - you all are awesome!

I'm looking for an AU. In this universe, John's looks aren't considered 'beautiful'. It is people that look like Rodney that are considered the pretty ones. I'm thinking John was pilot and Rodney needed him to fly somewhere or they just met at the airport?

I've been trying to find these two fics for a while but have had no luck. The first has Rodney and John in a relationship. John wants to try some kind of dominant/submissive (or bondage maybe?) play with McKay in the submissive/tied up role. Or now that I think about it, it may have been the aftermath of a bad mission, and John wants Rodney to submit to John taking complete care of him, ie lying completely still so John can examine him completely and not moving unless John moves him himself - maybe so John can reassure himself that Rodney is ok. There was no coercion on Johns part (maybe a bit of possesiveness?), it was just something he had been wanting to do. This may even be two seperate fics, I'm not sure. However in this particular scenario(s) Rodney has no interest in any kind of submission or being tied up and tells John so - not in a grossed out way "your kink is yucky!" way, just a matter of fact "not my cup of tea" thing. It wasn't a BDSM bashing fic by any means - I think Rodney may even have said that he has no problem with that kind of relationship but it just didn't do anything for him at all (maybe it actually turned him off a bit). He didn't reluctantly try it and find that he loved it. I recall thinking at the time that it was an interesting change from the more frequently seen scenarios of both partners being in complete sync as to what they want in bed, or the immediate enthusiastic embrace of a lovers kink by his/her partner.

The second fic is one that I read a few ago when I first got into this fandom and haven't seen since. The part I remember was (I think) a section of a larger fic. It was some kind of view into an alternate universe or maybe a "trapped in a virtual reality" or hallucination or dream deal. It portrayed the SGA characters as members of a family. John and Elizabeth were the parents, Teyla and Ronon were rebellious teenagers (adopted?) who may have been in a sexual relationship with each other. Rodney was a toddler who (in this small snippet) was sitting in his high chair being fed cheerios by one of his parents. There may have been another older child as well, possibly Lorne or Ford. I remember John or Elizabeth worrying about how much extra attention Rodney needed because of his incredibly high intelligence at such a young age. It may have been a kind of commentary on the familial relationships in canon or it may have been a whacky au, I have no idea. Despite the summary I don't think it was a Sheppard/Weir fic as I don't generally click on stories with that pairing, but I read it when I was just getting into SGA and hadn't seen much of the show, so anything is possible!

John owns a bakery, Rodney comes to buy double chocolate muffins.  Becket is there married to Elizabeth, Ronan is a student of Radek's.  All the characters are there.  What's worse is I'm sure I asked for this before but can't figure out a way to search posts I've made!

I'm looking for a McShep fic based on the episode McKay and Mrs Miller.
Rodney decides everyone prefers Rod so swaps places with him without telling anyone.

Ya'll were so fantastic last time, I thought I'd try again.   I read a recent story about Rodney and Jennifer's wedding (John doesn't speak until the ceremony) and it got me thinking of another one. I just remember Jennifer in her dress at the Hospital, John is in surgery and she realizes Rodney isn't going to marry her. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a McShep story, either established or developing throughout the fic. John and Rodney talk about what they'd bring to a deserted island. Rodney says the one album he'd bring is this one Coltrane album, and John is kind of surprised.

All I can remember about this one is a scene where John and Rodney are alone in the lab, there is a boatload of sexual tension, John unzips Rodney's shirt and gets a hand inside, and then Zelenka walks in on them. Everyone is highly embarrassed.

I have a vague sense that it was in the 10,000 word range, and I remember liking it a lot.

ETA: Found it!

1. The team go on a mission to Sateda where they go to this museum or something to look for information about a weapon. This might be the one where Satedans put their weapons stash in the water cause no one would think to look there.

2. The one where Ronan was a Scholar on Sateda.

3. The one with the Satedan fluffy grass stuff.

There's another Rodney and John fic where Rodney just accepts whatever he can from John and doesn't expect John to be faithful? because he doesn't think that John loves him like that. I think John is usual oblivious self but finally gets a clue. Happy ending.

In the fic, John and Rodney have an established, casual sort of intimate relationship. Rodney sees it as being pretty much entirely on John's terms and he's more or less ok with that. Then the two of them get to talking- on a balcony?-- and it might be New Years. John's wish for the new year is to maybe have some more sex. Rodney is completely on board with this wish, which makes John sort of flail because he always thought Rodney didn't much want it because he never instigated anything. Rodney reflects that he might be little dense. On occasion.

Hi! I have another fic that I lost in my mad reading spree (SGA fanfics are great!). Atlantis sees that the Daedalus is on it's way, but it is in trouble. Rodney goes out in a puddle jumper and boards the ship. He discovers that everyone aboard is injured from fleeing Earth, which has been conquered by the goa'uld (I think). Caldwell loses a leg (maybe), and Daniel has gone insane from watching Jack being tortured and then killed in front of him. If you could help, that'd be great!!
