Most recently in the preparing to leave saga
I just keep losing things. This is no good at all. I lost my phone days after I got home, I apparently have lost a boot, and now I have found that I've lost my USB cable that connects my camera to my phone. I am going to best buy tomorrow to try and find a replacement, and I did some research to find out exactly what I'm looking for - a USB cable with a Mini 14 Pin head. I think it's 14, cause I counted the grooves on my camera port, and it looks like 14, but it's so tiny I can't be sure. But when I looked the 14 pin thing up, it came up with Fuji, so I guess that is a good sign. Fucking fuck.
So. Tomorrow, Best Buy:
1 - USB/Camera Cable
2 - Battery Alarm Clock (fucking voltage difference...)
3 - Additional Rechargeable Batteries
4 - Headset for Skype calls
I hate money.
On the plus side? Looking around for camera stuff, I found an online guide (I lost the original paper version... actually, I think it may be in my filing cabinet, but I don't know where my mother put that. I should probably follow up on that...) and it's been super helpful with the camera. Except that I still can't put any of the pictures on my computer cause I lost the freaking cable. ... *phew* *calm self* But yes, so now I can press buttons without it making the loud beeping noises. I really am useless with some technology. I think I'm just afraid that I am going to break it somehow, press something that causes some sort of irrevocable damage. But the online guide, yes, wonderful. I think I am more comfortable reading directions and things like that online than on paper, just because it feels easier to take what I need without being bogged down by all the other information. It's odd, because usually I prefer paper, but I suppose that's just for things I actually need to read and spend time with, articles and whatnot. Huh.
Also exciting - mom gave me a bag. And it's cute. It's a tan leather messenger, and it will definitely come in handy because it closes and because I can wear it cross-body style which is easier to carry/move with. Ah. That reminds me. Hip is acting up again, I feel like I did sophomore year when I felt like I needed to be stretched on a rack. I have been trying different things to deal with it, but so far nothing has worked. I'm going to try to make a bikram class before leaving the states in Four Days. *Insert excited/nervous "aaaaehyunh?" here*
Ok. I feel like this post isn't particularly interesting, so I will stop now.
Meh.
